About
Hello, and welcome to my blog. For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Jacques Symby.
I have a degree in computers, but at some twist of faith I developed a love for finance. Before attending college, I read a book called Rich dad Poor dad. It was this book that sparked my interest in finance, although I loved computers.
To pursue my passion for finance, I signed up for a lifetime course at Online Trading Academy. It was an opportunity I could not pass, to learn the skills needed for trading world financial markets.
After earning my certificate I opened a brokerage account with TD Ameritrade. So of-course, not taking more classes as instructed by my mentors resulted in me blowing my account many times over.
Every time I blew my account I went back to a 9 to 5 until I finally realized I was my own enemy.
It took a lot of mistakes to realized it wasn’t my capital it was my self that was the problem.
Since then the markets have taught me many lessons, lessons that i would like to teach you thru this very blog.
Now that’s out the way, I want to make one thing clear. This blog is not for financial advice, for those of you who likes to sue. Lol. Instead its my personal perspective, for what I’ve learned about trading stocks and options. This journey consist of pits, falls and wins of over 12 years.
Most traders would never admit that, but my ego is not that big.
If you are new to trading and investing, I highly recommend you read on the subject. A good place to start is reading the intelligent investor by Benjamin Graham, and Trading for a living by Alexander Elder. After doing so seek professional advice.
However, be mindful of the advice you seek, for not all professional advisers have you’re best interest, so keep that in mind.
So once again welcome. And don’t forget to sign up for my newsletter, and visit my discussion forum at forum.stocksandoptionstips.com
